Unfortunately the new track pads I ordered didn't show up in time... so I had to slap on an old pair of abused pads and rotors...but I had fun nonetheless. I just wish I had my GoPro set-up for my first run out on track when I reeled in what was probably some big shot financial guy and his wife/girlfriend/mistress in a convertible F430.
Anyone who's gone lapping more than once is well aware that there are plenty of fast cars that show up to the track being driven by unskilled/inexperienced drivers, so it's not really an accomplishment by any means to have them waive you by... but I still revel in the fact that there were people standing along the wall on the front straight watching an old E30 passing by a Ferrari.
